Group foto inovest smallOn 6th-10th of July 2015, the final conference of the INOVEST project was held in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. The International Conference Eastern Partnership in pedagogical innovation in inclusive education is a synthesis of European experience in the development and implementation of innovative pedagogy. Many issues were discussed about (a) the lessons learned in modern teaching methods, (b) the effects of the project INOVEST (c) presentation of main steps, developed metrics and best practices examples to ensure the effectiveness of inclusive education in Belarus , Ukraine and Moldova.

The main focus of the conference was to present the results obtained in the framework of the project INOVEST. Moreover, a road map of the main ideas of the project after its completion was proposed. The conference revealed new teaching methods, in which technology plays the role of a catalyst and a major instrument of the learning process of pupils with SEN in an inclusive environment.

A coordinating meeting took place in February 2015 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. One of the main topics was the preparation and implementation of the final conference in July 2015 in Moldova.

Promoters in pedagogical innovations in inclusive education were invited to join the networking activities on 19th September in Chisinau, Moldavia, on 26th September in Odessa, Ukraine and on 30th September 2014 in Minsk, White Russia. During these activities, we presented the developed modules which provide knowledge and skills on how to work with children with Special Education Needs (SEN) and with their parents. The general goal of the training modules is that children with SEN will acquire easier skills in: reading, writing, mathematics, entreprenorial, Information and Communication Technologies and foreign languages in correspondence with EU strategies regarding basic competences.

A coordination meeting took place at the Institute of Continuing Education Chişinău (Moldova) for participants from Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Germany and Spain.

The working meeting took place at Continuing Education Institute (Moldova) and in the Pedagogical State University "Ion Creanga". The meeting was dedicated to the preparation & implementation of short-term intensive training courses and to the development and publication of curricula, courses and training materials for proffessional training of teachers and decision makers in Pedagogical Innovations in Inclusive Education.

During the coordination meeting (2-3rd May 2014 in Minsk), the scientific coordinator of the project S. Caisin, Head of Continuing Education Institute in Moldova and his colleague T. Tintyuk reviewed issues on the training modules and the publication. Moreover, the participants discussed issues of project financing and equipment purchases. T. Maroz, O. Minich, V. Radygina, V. Gamanovich  participated in the round table.

From 24 March to 28 March 2014, a round table with representatives of higher education institutions from Germany, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus was held in the state educational "Minsk City Institute for the Development of Education".          

14 of February 2014 – together with the Department of Education and Science of Odesa Municipal Council the State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” held a round table “Inclusive education introduction in Odessa region”.

The fourth coordinating meeting took place in February 2014 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. The topics of the meeting were the presentation of the last acitivities, the results and recommendations of the monitoring visits of EACEA and how to implement the recommendations,  the presentation of the draft of the interim report, coherence with the workplan, development of programmes and courses, designing the trainings for trainers, dissemination issues and planning of the next meeting.

 

29-30 of October 2013 - on the basis of State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” the international theoretical and practical conference “Management of Educational Establishments: experience, problems and perspectives” was held.

From end of September until beginning of October, the third coordination meeting took place at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm Sweden. The responsible author of each module presented the content of the module and its structure was discussed.

On the 17th of September 2013 - on the basis of State Institution “SouthUkrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” a round table “Practical experience of European countries as to the realization of inclusive education” was held. The officials of Odessa region higher educational establishments and their assistants, the students of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky studying for Master Degree on the programme “Management of Educational establishment” took part in the work of a round table.

The second coordination meeting took place in May 2013 at the University of Alicante in Spain. The project activities for the next project year were discussed, and the authors as well as the persons responsible for each course module were chosen.

The first Inovest meeting was a Kick-Off as well as Coordination Meeting. On the 4th of March 2013, the INOVEST project (Eastern Partnership in Pedagogical Inoovations in Inclusive Education) was launched at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, the project's applicant and administrative coordinator. At the meeting attended representatives of all project partners from Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Spain, Sweden and Germany.
